Miyako: What are you going to do in the future, Hiroko?
Hiroko: In the future? Do you mean when I graduate? Do you mean what am I going to do when I graduate?
Miyako: Yeah, what are you going to do when you graduate?
Hiroko: I’m not sure. I might become a teacher, but I don’t know. It’s hard to decide.
Miyako: Yeah it’s hard to decide. It’s really hard to decide what to do in the future.
Hiroko: What are you going to do?
Miyako: I don’t know. I can’t decide. I really like education but I don’t know what to do.
Hiroko: Do you want to be a teacher?
Miyako: Not really. I didn’t like my teachers at school. I don’t want to be a teacher.
Hiroko: What do you study?
Miyako: I study education. People who study education usually become teachers, but I don’t really want to be a teacher. I just don’t know what I want to do. I don’t know what I want to be.
Hiroko: John knows what he wants to do. He wants to be a writer.
Miyako: Yeah. He knows what he wants to be, but I don’t know what I want to be. Not yet. One day I will decide, though. One day I will know. Maybe I will wake up one morning and I will know what I want to do; what I want to be.
Hiroko: I’m sure you will.
