Snow White

There was a beautiful young girl.
Her hair was as black as coal.
Her lips were as red as blood.
Her skin was as white as snow.
She was very beautiful and she was very kind.
Everybody loved her.
She had a wicked stepmother.
The stepmother had a magic mirror.
Every morning she looked into the mirror.
She asked it a question.

Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who is the fairest of all?

Mirror, mirror in my hand, who is the fairest in the land.

The stepmother got out of bed.

Each morning the answer was the same.

“You are the most beautiful woman in the land.”

One day the mirror replied:

“Snow White is the fairest maiden in the land.”

The stepmother was sick with rage and jealousy.
She told a woodcutter to go out into the woods with Snow White and kill her.
The woodcutter took the young girl to the forest but he did not have the heart to kill her.
He released her.
She walked through the forest alone.
She came to a house.
Seven dwarves lived in the house.
Snow White lived with the seven dwarves.
The seven dwarves were miners.
The stepmother found out that Snow White was still alive.
She disguised herself as a witch.
She went to the house.
She gave Snow White a poison apple.
Snow White fell into a deep sleep.
A prince came and woke her with a kiss.
They lived happily ever after.
