Do you know any good recipes for bread or cakes? Go to the bread and cake page and write the recipe. Here is some vocabulary to help you:

Bread Ingredients

flour
salt
yeast
water

First you mix the salt and the flour then you add the yeast and the water. The mixture, before you bake it, is called dough. It is like rubber. You roll it and knead it. You let it sit then. You wait for it to rise then you bake it.

Look at this sequence:

I sifted the flour.
I mixed the flour and the salt.
I mixed the yeast with a little warm water.
I mixed the yeast and the flour/salt mixture.
I added water.
I made dough.
I kneaded the dough.
I let it sit.
It rose.
I put it in the oven.
I baked it. (It baked)

After the bread has been baked, you cut it up. The outside part is called the crust.
