Which one was it?

Which one have you read?
Who was it by?
What was it about?
What did you think of it?

Write your answer in the “comment” section at the bottom of the page and leave your contact details if you want to talk about the book.

Use this pattern when you write:

I read … by … and it was about … . I thought it was … .

Note the two pronunciations of “read”:

I read it when I was a university student. (past simple tense, rhymes with “red” the colour)

I read the news in the English Conversations Almanac instead of in the newspaper. (rhymes with reed, present simple tense)
