Adverbs generally tell us how when where why

Although they are not important in the larger scheme of things in terms of content, adverbs are vital fillers which provide details in situations where many people are communicating.

by and large
in so far as
at the end of the day
with varying degrees of frequency

They provide the space which people need to do their politics in.

    YAY! I promise, you’ll love _Mortals_ for all the same reosans you like _Mating_. Well, maybe not the same, exactly, but as far as the intricacies of relationships, Mortals is a really good follow-up. Plus, being Normal Rush, it has even more amazing vocab for you to puzzle over (and become smarter by;), plus treatises on religion, race, etc. It’s from the guy’s POV this time, so you probably won’t get quite the experience of being a woman in the world (let’s talk more about that, though. Being a woman, I didn’t realize this book would be so revolutionary). But it’s still pretty fricken amazing.PS: I see you were right about sanguine. I’ll count this as the first time I was wrong about what a word meant;)
