Notes and Ideas – general “you”

Parallel Expressions

1. You are learning something new every day.

2. One is learning something new every day.

3. I am learning something new every day.

The first one is informal and friendly. The second one is formal and abstract. The third one is the clearest.

Notes

We often use “you” to mean “people in general”.

Example
