He had blotched skin, crooked teeth, bad breath, bloodshot eyes, greasy hair and he was fat but he had a kind heart. He had a kind heart and a good sense of humour. He was a beautiful compassionate human being.

The beautiful compassionate ugly monster was the servant of the corrupt priest. He was his servant. He was his general handyman. He did everything. He did everything for the priest. He did everything and anything for the priest. He did anything and everything for the priest.

The priest said “Chase her!”
He said: “Catch her.”
He said: “Lock her up.”

The monster said “Why?”

The monster went to the church. He found the priest. He told him everything. The priest went to the tavern. Then he went to the hotel. He went to the tavern and then he went to the hotel. The evil priest went to the tavern and then he went to the hotel. He looked in the window. He looked in the window of the soldier’s room. The priest murdered the soldier.

The priest was outside. He heard laughing. He banged on the door. He shouted. He threatened. He cried. He begged.

The monster did not listen. He did not open the door. The woman fell asleep. The monster made a fire. He cooked a pigeon. He made a fire and he cooked a pigeon. It tasted good. It tasted like chicken.

The woman woke up. She was angry. She ate the pigeon meat. It was delicious. The monster was a good cook. The woman drank some water. The priest banged on the door. The monster did not open the door. The woman did not open the door. The soldiers did not come. The police did not come. The monster and the woman were safe.

They were safe in the belltower.

She stayed in the belltower of the church with the monster and she saw only him and she prayed to our lady of the city.

The woman lived in the belltower for her whole life with the monster. Some people say she is not dead. Some people say “She is still there in the belltower with the poetic monster.” Some say: “She was really our lady of the city.” At night sometimes people see her in the streets near the river or near the church. She is our lady of the city. People say that. She is our Lady of the City. She brings good luck. She is our lady of the city.
